After spending a few years in the corporate world interacting with various different customers and designing various different enterprise level systems, Geoff decided it was time to break away from the mainstream and help small businesses reach the potential they deserve. With Kauten Effects being the small business that it is, one thing became even more clear; small busineses need all the help they can get. Because of this, Kauten Effects was created to help each and every small business it could. From consulting to full on design and search engine optimization, we are here to help everyone we can so that they too may compete with the large corporations of America.

In 2007 the idea first came alive with our founder helping out non-profits and various other small businesses reach their web potential. From there the domains were purchased and the website design began. In early 2008 the first few clients came about and ever since Kauten Effects has been doing what it could to ensure everyone has the same tools and a level playing field in the Internet world.

Ultimately we would like to be the best resource for all small businesses even if it is just emailing back and forth about the status of a particular website. We aim to do the best we can, at the best prices, and look forward to keeping it that way. We are not looking to be the top of the food chain, nor are we trying to be the next market leader. We have a strong devotion to small businesses and the people that run them. When it comes down to it, it is the various different small businesses that keep prices honest and monopolies in check.
